Practice Sections provide an avenue to participate in meaningful projects and educational opportunities while becoming better acquainted with other bar members who practice in similar areas of the law. Please contact Dayna Ferrero if you have questions about joining a practice section.

*After September 1st those who register for a section will have their membership roll over to the following year.

Election Process
It takes time, so get started early
- Section Chair contacts current members to see if they are willing to stay in their current positions or move into open positions.
- Find new people to fill any open positions. Contacting people directly works best.
- Provide the proposed slate for the election to ISB.
- ISB will send out a Call for Nominations email (open for 1 week)
- ISB will send out Official Election to the Section at large (open for 1 week)
- ISB will send Election Results to the Section at large and update the Section’s webpage.
*Drafts of communications will be sent to the Section Chair before being emailed to the section members to check for accuracy.
