Child Protection Section

The Child Protection Section of the Idaho State Bar provides services to promote quality representation by child protection law practitioners and encourage collaboration with the judiciary and other practitioners who work with children and families. The section meets at 12:00 p.m. noon (MT) on the fourth Friday of the month via Zoom.

  • Guardian Ad Litem Video – The Section celebrated Foster Care Awareness Day in February 2021 by having Judge Andrew Ellis explain the importance of the Guardian Ad Litem program and its need for community volunteers, as well as, attorney volunteers. You can watch it HERE.

Standard Membership Dues – $25
Non-ISB Members (i.e. law professors, law students, judicial law clerks, the general public, etc.) – $10
