Appellate Practice Section

The Appellate Practice Section of the Idaho State Bar offers representation and services to both civil and criminal attorneys who practice before state and federal appellate courts. The section meets quarterly on the second Thursday of April, June, September, and December at 12:00 p.m. noon (MT) at The Law Center, 525 W. Jefferson Street in Boise. Meetings may be hybrid or via Zoom only. Please check email notices for confirmation of location.

Section Membership

Membership dues are as follows:

Standard Membership Dues – $30

Government & Public Sector Attorneys – $25

Attorneys Admitted to ISB Less Than 3 Years – $10

Law Students – FREE

The 2019 Idaho Appellate Handbook, 6th Edition, is now available for purchase. Prices are $100.00 for section members and $150.00 for non-section members. To purchase, fill out the Publication Order Form and submit with the appropriate payment.
