The Idaho Judicial Council has appointed Mike Oths as Executive Director, effective July 1, 2026. He replaces Jeff Brudie, who is retiring after serving as Executive Director since January 1,  2022.

Oths served as Idaho State Bar Counsel from 1986 to 2003, when he was appointed as Ada County Magistrate Judge. He retired in 2022 and has been serving as a senior judge since.
