Amendments to the Idaho Appellate Rules

Amendments to the Idaho Appellate Rules.

The amendments to the Idaho Appellate Rules are updates that were prompted by the electronic filing system but pertain to those who are still allowed to file in paper format and thus are not filing under the electronic filing rule.  If you are filing in paper, the clerk’s office no longer wishes to receive six copies of motions and briefs or to have briefs bound.  Instead, the original filing is scanned into the system.  The amendments will save time and money for those who are not e-filing and they are effective immediately.   The order can be found on the Idaho Supreme Court webpage at https://www.isc.idaho.gov/rules/Order-Amending-Appellate-Rules.pdf.
