Attorneys involved in appeals should be aware of an error in the most recent set of Idaho court rules published by Michie.

The current set of printed books lists Idaho Appellate Rule 11.2 – on the signing of notice of appeals, petitions, motions, briefs and other papers – as being renumbered to I.A.R. 11.3 earlier this year. However, I.A.R. 11.2’s numbering did not change. A new I.A.R. 11.3 was created regarding the transfer of appeals taken to the wrong court. The text of this new rule is missing from the printed Michie volume.

The most current versions of I.A.R. 11.2 and 11.3 that are in effect can be found on the Idaho Supreme Court’s website.
