Online Licensing Renewal

Online licensing renewal is available for current Idaho State Bar members from approximately December 1 through March 1. New Admittee Online Licensing is available on an individual basis as applicants are approved for admission. Please contact the Licensing Department at (208) 334-4500 if you have any questions.

The 2026 licensing renewal packets will be mailed to the current members in early December 2025 and the online licensing renewal portal will be opened at the same time.  The renewal portal will remain open through the March 2, 2026 final licensing deadline. It will be closed for 2026 licensing renewals following the March 2, 2026 final licensing deadline.

The 2026 licensing deadline is February 2, 2026.  Online licensing payments completed after deadline will automatically include the appropriate late fee. Paper payments not physically received in the Idaho State Bar Office by the deadline must be accompanied by the licensing late fee:  $100 for active and house counsel members; $25 for inactive, senior, and emeritus members.  Please note that postmarks do not qualify as meeting the deadline.  The street address for overnight deliveries is 525 W. Jefferson Street, Boise, Idaho 83702. Attorneys who have not paid by mid-January are encouraged to use Online Licensing Renewal to avoid the late fee. Questions may be directed to the Licensing Department at (208) 334-4500.

Individual attorneys will be able to complete their 2026 licensing paperwork and pay online by credit card or e-check beginning in early December 2025. Individual attorney online payments may be made by credit card or e-check. If you prefer to pay by paper check, please use the licensing forms mailed to you.

Invitations to create an online licensing renewal account were emailed on December 3 from support@tyleridaho.com.

If your email address changed and you can no longer access your account or you need another copy of the invitation, please use the Online Licensing Invitation Request Form to request a new one.

The instructions for setting up your account are available at https://tyleridaho.com/demo/isb.html. You will choose your own password when you create your account. The passwords will no longer be set by the Idaho State Bar, and we will not have access to them. There is a link on the sign-in page to help if you forgot your password.

If your employer plans to pay for your licensing, please do not start filling out the online forms until your employer has set up their attorney roster.

Attorneys who chose to receive the paper packet will also receive an invitation to complete their licensing online.

Please contact the Licensing Department if you need a paper packet mailed to you.

If you have questions, please contact Licensing at (208) 334-4500.

Firms can collect their attorneys’ information and make a single payment by credit card or check. The firm online licensing portal provides a breakdown of the fees by attorney and payment category along with calculating the total payment amount. This option allows firms to complete the licensing process with minimal paperwork and staff time.
