Virtual Lunch CLE: Your Voice, Your Choice

Join us on April 12, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. for a Virtual Lunch CLE celebrating National Healthcare Decisions Day titled “Your Voice, Your Choice.” Speakers will be Jennifer James, Chaplain Services Manager from Kootenai Health, Michela Seth, Associate Legal Counsel, and Dr. Nicole Pelly.

The North Idaho Palliative Care Coalition recently created an updated Advance Directive document based on the Idaho statutory Advance Directive form.  The update was prepared in order to make the document easier to understand and to offer the opportunity to document wishes for situations in which death is not imminent, but in which significant changes in quality of life have occurred due to injury or illness.  The new document is substantially similar to the statutory document – with some important changes.  Dr. Nicole Pelly (Outpatient Palliative Care physician, Kootenai Health), Michela Seth (Kootenai Health Associate Legal Counsel), and Jennifer James (Manager, Kootenai Health Chaplain Services) will provide discussion about the changes to the form and information for use with your clients about completing the form, followed by time for discussion and questions.
