This panel will focus on the current state of the unique government-to-government relationship between the United States and American Indian tribes. Panelists will focus on how the relationship developed, the current state of federal-tribal relations, and how federal policy related to American Indian tribes should could continue to evolve in an era of self-determination in response to increasing jurisdictional complexity, resource scarcity, and climate change
