Ruchti (District 29) and Idaho State House of Representatives Minority Leader Ilana S. Rubel (District 18).  These lawyer-legislators will discuss hot topics from this year’s session and interim committees and provide insight into the upcoming 2026 session with an emphasis placed on legislation concerning Idaho’s legal community.

The last hour of the afternoon will feature Secretary of State Phil McGrane, who will discuss the changes made this past session to the statutes regarding Sunshine Law and lobbying. Topics will include the addition of reporting requirements for indirect lobbying and the provisions that are now part of Title 74, Chapter 7, Transparent and Ethical Government of the Idaho Code.
