The Idaho State Bar (ISB) Board of Commissioners invites qualified attorneys to apply to be appointed as the Idaho Delegate to the American Bar Association (ABA) House of Delegates. The ISB Delegate must be an ABA member in good standing or become an active dues-paying member upon appointment. The ISB Delegate replaces Johnathan Shirts. The two-year term commences at the close of the 2026 ABA Annual Meeting on August 4, 2026, and expires at the conclusion of the 2028 ABA Annual Meeting.

The ISB provides some financial assistance for travel expenses; however, the Delegate will be responsible for some costs associated with attending ABA House of Delegates meetings.
