The new Title IX 2024 regulations are here and now requires annual training for members of your Title IX “team.” This two-day training will cover all the required training topics for higher education and K-12 coordinators, deputies, investigators, decision-makers, appellate decision-makers, and informal resolution facilitators under the new rules. For attorneys who regularly advise on Title IX-related issues, this training will provide the base knowledge needed to advise clients, schools, and school districts, as well as explain the new nuisances and changes from the 2020 rule to the 2024 rule. Speakers and panelists will include current sitting Title IX Coordinators, attorneys specializing in education law, Title IX consultants, an attorney from OCR, and school general counsel.   Additional topics covered will include mandatory reporting requirements, informal resolutions, prompt investigations, the elements of identifying, investigating, and analyzing claims under Title IX, pregnancy, and parenting, how to assess credibility, collaboration ideas for students with IEPs or 504 plans, and fair hearings.

We hope you will attend this two-day event at the Stueckle Sky Center on Boise State’s campus. Breakfast and lunch will be provided on both days.
