Developing a client’s story is a critical component of preparing for any case and is much more difficult when the client has history of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking or has otherwise experienced trauma.  Michael T. Carney, University of Idaho College of Law, will teach attorneys how to engage with clients through trauma informed practices to best counsel and represent them in family court and how their trauma impacts you and your ability to practice law and your life at home.

*Note – Each Annual Meeting Webcast CLE session requires separate registration.

** In-Person Attendance – There will be a limited number of spots available to attend the CLE sessions in person on a first come, first serve basis at Concordia University School of Law.  All in-person events will require attendees to follow social distancing guidelines and to wear a face covering.
