Resources for Additional Credits

You can receive an extension from January 1st until March 1st to complete your MCLE requirements by paying the $100 MCLE extension fee. You can pay the fee online, here, or by submitting a check along with an informal request to the Idaho State Bar. The final licensing deadline is March 1st.

If you have applications pending for courses taken before December 31st, you do not have to pay for an extension. The extension request and fee are required only if you take courses in January/February to complete the previous reporting period’s requirements. 

Note:  If you request an MCLE extension, the rest of your licensing must still be physically received in the Idaho State Bar office by the February 1st licensing deadline to avoid the licensing late fee.
