- CONTINUING LEGAL EDUCATION (CLE)
The Idaho Law Foundation and Idaho State Bar Practice Sections provide educational programs in specific areas of law and offer a wide range of publications for purchase.
Live CLE classes are offered statewide throughout the year, on a variety of legal topics. Many of the shorter seminars (1-3 hours) are available to view as a live webcast. Live Program Online Registration is required 48 hours in advance for all webcast participants. Webcast seminars can be viewed from your computer and include the option to email your questions during the program. and many of those are also broadcast via the web.

- LAWYER ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
This confidential program helps and supports lawyers who are experiencing problems associated with addictive behaviors such as, but not limited to: alcohol, drug use, gambling, mental health issues and/or depression. The program also focuses on educating legal professionals and their family and friends about the causes, effects and treatment of alcohol and drug dependency, depression and other mental health problems. - LAWYER REFERRAL SERVICE
The statewide Lawyer Referral Service (LRS), operated by the Bar, is designed to assist people who are able to pay normal attorney fees but need assistance finding a lawyer. The LRS provides the client with an unbiased referral to an attorney who has experience in the area of law appropriate to the client's needs. To participate as an LRS member, attorneys register annually and are provided with pre-screened client referrals.

The Idaho State Bar offers a Mentor Program to assist new lawyers in their transition to a successful practice. The program pairs new lawyers with experienced lawyers in their community. Interested in participating? Submit an application.

- IDAHO STATE BAR ANNUAL MEETING
Typically held in July, the Annual Meeting alternates locations around the state. It includes CLE seminars, networking opportunities, social gatherings and awards recognition. Any member of the Bar or the public is welcome to join a Practice Section. The Idaho Academy of Leadership for Lawyers is an interactive leadership training program designed specifically for lawyers who have practiced law for or have a total of five years professional experience. Applications are accepted each summer.
- IDAHO LAW FOUNDATION BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The Board of Directors is a thirteen member governing body for the Idaho Law Foundation. Board Members come from all parts of Idaho, representing both the legal profession and the communities we serve.
- IDAHO STATE BAR BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
The Board of Commissioners is the governing body for the Idaho State Bar. Commissioners are elected by the District Bar members and serve three-year terms. If you have program ideas or concerns regarding the operations of the Idaho State Bar, please contact your local Bar Commissioner.
