What is the 6.1 Challenge?
The 6.1 Challenge, named after Idaho Rule of Professional Conduct 6.1, is an event to encourage and formally recognize pro bono and public service activities from members of the Fourth District Bar.
To enter, submit your pro bono hours for the period of April 1, 2020, and September 1, 2021, by 5:00 pm on Friday, September 10, 2021. Submissions will be reviewed by a distinguished panel, including members of the federal and state judiciary and local community leaders. The panel will evaluate the type and quality of the pro bono activities and the percentage of attorneys participating, as well as the number of hours conducted on behalf of the community, to determine who will be recognized for each category of law office. The categories include small, large, solo, and government law offices. The 6.1 Challenge Award for Pro Bono for each category of law office will be presented during Pro Bono Week October 24th – 30th.
