What is the 6.1 Challenge?
The 6.1 Challenge, named after Idaho Rule of Professional Conduct 6.1, is an event to encourage and formally recognize pro bono and public service activities from members of the Fourth District Bar.
To enter, submit your pro bono hours for the period of April 1, 2019 and March 31, 2020 by 5:00 pm on Monday April 6, 2020.
Submissions will be reviewed by a distinguished panel, including members of the federal and state judiciary and local community leaders. The panel will evaluate the type and quality of the pro bono activities and the percentage of attorneys participating, as well as the number of hours conducted on behalf of the community, to determine who will be recognized for each category of law office. The categories include: small, large, solo and government law offices. The 6.1 Challenge Award for Pro Bono for each category of law office will be presented at a reception in the Spring 2020.
