Attorneys Kathryn Railsback will present on assisting low-income senior and disabled refugees in applying for naturalization as U.S. citizens. The training will cover screening applicants, drafting the naturalization application and supporting documents, preparing for the interview with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, and reviewing disability waiver certifications from medical professionals. These certifications are intended for applicants who seek an exception to the English or civics requirements due to a physical or developmental disability or mental impairment. This CLE is free to attorneys who agree to assist low-income senior or disabled refugees become U.S. Citizens on a pro bono basis.
