Volunteer Opportunities Overview

Law Related Education

Law Related Education sponsors educational programs for people of all ages. Offerings include the annual Mock Trial Competition giving high school students across the state the opportunity to prepare and present a legal case and the Lawyers in the Classroom project, which gives students the opportunity to learn about the law from actual practitioners. LRE also supports Citizens' Law Academy, an adult education program that helps the public learn about the law and the work of lawyers. With your support, LRE can continue to provide engaging law-related instruction to Idaho citizens in both our schools and in public forums.

Idaho Volunteer Lawyers Program (IVLP)

Idaho Volunteer Lawyers Program (IVLP) organizes private attorneys across Idaho to expand the legal resources available to low-income families. By volunteering with IVLP, you provide an invaluable service to low income families and fulfill your ethical obligation to ensure that all citizens have access to competent legal representation.

Continuing Legal Education

Continuing Legal Education sponsors substantive and timely educational programs that help lawyers remain current on developing legal trends. The CLE Committee is always looking to expand the repertoire of presented topics on all areas of the law and is open to suggestions and program ideas.  The more informed and educated you are, the better representation you can provide to the public. If you would like to volunteer please contact Mahmood Sheikh at (208) 334-4500.
