Bar Exam Schedule and Deadlines
The Bar Exam is given twice a year, the last Monday afternoon, Tuesday and Wednesday of February and July. In February it is held in Boise; in July it is held in Boise and Moscow. Deadlines for timely filing are October 1 for the February exam and March 1 for the July exam. Late deadlines are December 1 for the February exam and May 1 for the July exam. Applications received after the timely deadline will be assessed a late fee. Applications received after the late deadline will not be accepted and will be returned. When an application for permission to take the Bar Examination is filed after the timely filling deadline, the Board may act, but shall not be required to act, upon such application in time to permit the applicant to take the approaching examination.
